A warm welcome to our students and families!

At Watkins Memorial High School, we are committed to preparing every student for their journey beyond graduation, whether that's college, a career, the workforce, or military service.  Our focus is clear:  Make Every Day Count as we work together to Build the Future.

Developing capabilities and readiness is at the heart of what we do. We cultivate creative, critical thinkers who collaborate and communicate effectively in both academic and career settings. Our approach focuses on building strong foundations for future success, and we have high expectations for both our staff and students as they engage in all aspects of the high school experience.

We prioritize readiness through intentional programming and support.  Students engage in career exploration, attend college preparation workshops, learn about workforce opportunities, and explore military options.  Whatever path students choose, we're here to help them succeed.

Students who feel connected to their school community demonstrate higher achievement, better attendance, and greater resilience.  We strongly encourage every student to get involved in athletics, extracurricular activities, clubs, and service organizations. These experiences enrich the student experience, fostering lasting friendships and building life skills for whatever comes next.
